A letter which has been folded and used as an envelope addressed to Wm. Trafford at Switholmley signed by G. Hunt.  It is dated London, Mar 1st 1757.  "Hitherto I have had a severe Winter, but am now in Spirits, to think of Staffordshire & hope to see it once more, the Hills will for ever be out of my Reach & therefor whenever I can get a competent Price for my Lands near you, I shall be glad to dispose of them...I agree the manor, has been of little or no Value to either of Us, but it certainly might be of good deal if prudently managed, a Circumstance I dont expect to see..."
