Late Medeival English Deed of Gift on parchment , in latin . Size 9.5
ins x 5.5 ins . The Deed has an intact red wax tag
seal with some cracks . The date is 1452 Sciant presentes et futuri quod ego Henricus de la Pomeray ........." and ends "apud Bryxham........anno regni Regis Henrici sexti tridecimo primo".
The condition of the deed is very good , written in black ink slightly faded
but all present text is easily legible - there are 3 small holes on the
horizontal fold , one of which causes the loss of one word and and another of which the loss of about 1/3rd of a word .
There is a thin underlining in red of 4 words.There
is very slight staining in 2 small areas. The names of parties and witnesses include H de la Pomeray, Nicholas Bukponn?,Walter
Huchon, Gilbert Herd, Henry Southcote,
