I have a very scarce, perhaps unique, Holy Bible published in 1762. It is THE
HOLY BIBLE CONTAINING THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS; NEWLY TRANSLATED OUT OF THE
ORIGINAL TONGUES, AND WITH THE FORMER TRANSLATIONS DILIGENTLY COMPARED AND
REVISED, BY HIS MAJESTY'S SPECIAL COMMAND. APPOINTED TO BE READ IN CHURCHES" The Holy
Bible. 2 volumes in 1. (Old and New Testaments) 2 engraved frontispieces and
2 additional titles. Illustrated throughout by 204 images (4 to a page) and 6
folding engraved maps. Volume Two Also has a Title Page Dated 1762. Complete
textually (pages unnumbered) and as far as I can see, in terms of the
illustrations. Nothing appears to be missing and with the additional frontises and titles, the book appears to be a unique
configuration. Certainly no other copy in this configuration can be found. A
copy of this book in 2 volumes is currently advertised at $18500 on ABE. BOOK

v SMITH PEDIGREE DOCUMENT This original Pedigree document seems to have been
prepared as the result of a court case in 1899 re James Smith deceased at
that time. This is one sheet folded and measuring about 15"x 20"
approx, exterior dusty. We do not know exactly where these families came
from. Solicitor is in Leek, Staffs, Staffordshire so this is a strong
possibility There is a mention of the following families in the the diagram; Smith, Barber, Foster formerly Stubbs, Billinge, Baker, Bentley, Walley,

early Victorian document on a piece of land in Middle Street in the Hampshire
town of Gosport. This is an Abstract of Title containing 19 large pages (34cm
x 41cm) of handwritten detail.This is a detailed
history of all the previous owners of this piece of land on the south side of
Middle Street.This is an 1840s copy of work that
was compiled in 1833 and every agreement on the freeholds and leaseholds are
listed, going back to December 15th 1749.The history has been officially
scrutinised and comments are present in the marginals,this work has been dated January 1843. |

consisting of one sheet measuring approximately 80 x 62 centimetres. The
front page has one blue duty paid stamp, one red sealing wax seal and the
signature "STAFFORD". The reverse has a plan of the property
showing it coloured green and the signature of WILLIAM BLOUNT as witness. |

written, in nice condition with and interesting stamp to the front for GWR
(Great Western Railway maybe?). Dates range from 1793 - 1828. From the images
the document appears to be an Abstract of Title of the Right Honble Lady Emily Foley to an undivided moiety or equal
half part of and in Freehold Estates situate at Bradley and other places in
the County of Stafford. The first indenture listed is a Bargain and Sale
(duly enrolled in Chancery 21st October ...?) and referes

The reverse bears the signature of FREDERICK and, (what I decipher as)
GRATRIX, Solicitor, Stafford as witness to the signature of Arthur Poulson. I also has an
acknowledgement for repayment to the Building Society with its stamp
witnessed by JAMES VENABLES and W.T. EDGAR (Directors) and GEORGE DEAN
