A rare medieval document stating that The Dean of Leyland releases the administration of all the goods of Rayland alias Ralph alias Ranulph de Standish Knight lately deceased, concerning his testement to James Standish his brother and Joan his relict, with all actions, quarrels, demands etc concerning the same. Dated 6 April 1435 in the 33th year of the reign of King Henry VI  This is a rare document from the time of Henry VI handwritten in Latin on vellum.  When this document was written, England was amid the hundred years' war with France. There is a wax seal on a strip of vellum. A very attractive document. The vellum is in good condition for its age, but there is some creasing where it has been folded. The text is clear and readable.
