A vellum/parchment single page
will with probate certificate. The will is that of William Bates who was of
Blackburn, Lancs when he made it but then moved to Melbourne in Derbyshire
where he apparently died. He was a
'Protestant Dissenting Minister' and left everything to his wife Harriett who
was his executrix. The documents are in very good condition. There are the usual fold creases and some
grubby marks on the outside, as is expected on documents of this age. |
