manuscript on vellum, in Latin, 1 membrane, soiled, 535 x 310mm., 1729; sold
subject to the manorial documents rules, this item cannot be exported from
the United Kingdom. ?Monkton, two miles north east
of Honiton. I am advised that Monkton Hook Manor was on the Surrey-Sussex
border between Rudgwick and Alfold. It was quite a
large Manor extending as far as Dunsfold |

Indenture on two sheets dated 30 August 1882. This document is a Lease for 21
years of a messuage or dwellinghouse,
shop and premises in Walworth Road in the parish of St Mary Newington, Surrey
which I understand is now part of the Borough of Southwark, London with a
later Surrender endorsed on the back of the document. The document has a
fascinating Schedule of Fixtures and Fittings for each room including amongst
others "a Bathroom with a Body Bath as fixed with cold water supply
